Islamic-Friendly Government?

I will talk more about Ergenekon, but something drew my attention today as I was going thru the past articles on Turkey. In one of NY Times article, I noticed an expression that became a kind of buzzword for some circles. But the problem is nobody notices anything about the weirdness of the expression.

You guessed right! I'm talkin' about the title of the current post. First let's take a look at the expression along with link below:

As long-secular Turkey, now under an Islamic-friendly government, steps into a larger global role, positioning itself as a key actor in dealing with Israel, Iraq or Iran, more attention has focused on its simmering internal tensions over religion in the public sphere.

A couple of thought-provoking questions for bright minds:

1) In Turkey, is it something bad for any specific government to be friend of Islam? Remember, we are talking about a country whose population is 98 % Muslim.

2) Does this expression also mean that former governments were opposing Islam or were they anti-Islamic governments?

3) If you say "YES" to the first two questions, then let's take a look at the presidential inaugurations in the US and presidents' oath of the office. There are prayers in these ceremonies as well as a sworn-on document. For example President Obama used Lincoln Bible to swear in his ceremony. So, what I mean is it is very normal for an overwhelmingly Christian country to make their presidents use religious elements even on the first day of their presidency. That means there is a contradictory situation here which can be summed up as a double-standard.

4) If you say "NO" to the first two questions, then why a newspaper like NY Times still uses this relationship as though something really bad happened? Here we encounter another Catch-22 situation where sincerity and fairness is very scarce.

The topic I am dealing with is such a huge one that, I am  currently lying the foundation of the things to come in the following days. Stay tuned...

What Were We Talkin' About?

Before giving you reliable information, I made a great deal of research on this organization and came up with horrific things. I will also give you the scholarly links on this organization and its followers.
In almost everywhere, I came across Ergenekon organization whose characteristics are as follows:

I) It is a bloody terrorist organization aiming to overthrow current Turkish government with the help of military powers.

II) An insidious paramilitary group of monsters who try to KILL CHRISTIANS AND JEWS in TURKEY and create havoc in the country.

III) A cruel organization which is not scared of even bombing mosques to create chaos among lay people in Turkey.

IV) A cold-blooded group that was planning to bomb Greece so that a Turkish-Greek war starts again which would cause the dethroning of current Turkish government.
Any many more to come...

Welcome Everyone! Come on in...

Hello Everyone,

In this blog, I will be a part of a long-standing debate that has been going on for several months. But I won't repeat the same old patterns again and again. Rather, I will bring an innovative approach for our American audience and will mostly deal with the "real motives" of people who have launched an attack on Fethullah Gulen, certain US charter schools and some other people.

Believe me my friends; if you don't know anything about the recent history of Turkey, you won't be able to have a comprehensive view of the events and issues.

I guarantee you that you will be shocked when you encounter with the real bloody and insidious face of the attackers!
